On Saturday we were treated to a traditional Chinese dance demonstration by Moon Lee. She is a veteran actress of Hong Kong action films whose career started at age seventeen. She is credited with starring roles in over 40 feature films and hundreds of TV episodes.
Her interest in martial arts had its roots in her dancing lessons as a teenager. Eight years ago, she returned to her roots by founding the Moon Dancing Studio in Hong Kong. Her primary aim is to reintroduce to Hong Kong girls the art of Chinese traditional dance forms.
The dance classes were so popular, Moon added an extra session. Our kids all enjoyed learning about Chinese dancing.
